ROB RODRIGUEZ - Head Coach
Rob has been the head coach of the U17 team since they team was formed 5 years ago. Rob began his coaching career in the Naugatuck Youth Soccer Association in CT in 1992 and currently holds a USSF Class D license. Before coming to Velocity Rob also was a long time coach and President of the Sacopee Valley soccer club. Rob also serves as the Vice President of the Velocity Soccer Club. He is currently a director on the Soccer Maine board representing Maine's Southern District. In 2007 Rob received his certification as a Youth Conditioning Specialist from the International Youth Conditioning Association.
EVAN OUELLETTE - Goalkeeper Coach
Evan Ouellette takes over as keeper coach for U17 girls. Evan was a four-year varsity player at Sacopee Valley High School and in his senior year was team captain, team MVP, and Western Maine Conference All Star. He went on to play at Division III Fitchburg State College in Massachusetts. As a player, Evan has trained under some of the best instructors in the country. He attended the Soccer Plus Goalkeeper School for two years, the second year being at the national training center level under Tony DiCicco, plus semi-private instruction under Per Hendricksen, a former national team coach for country of Bhutan and former Georges Valley High School coach. In 2009, Evan returned to Sacopee Valley High School as the JV Boys coach.
BRIAN HINK- Strength & Conditioning Coach/Trainer
Brian has a sports medicine background in Exercise
Physiology & Exercise rehabilitation. Over the last ten years, he has worked with high school, college, and professional athletes, along with pre and post surgical
patients. Brian will be incorporating a strength &
conditioning program into regular team training for the U15 Girls, along with monitoring injuries and rehab. Brian is currently a drill sergeant in the US Army Reserves and
runs his own company, Performance Personal Training.
Brian Libby - Brian is the Asst Coach of the U17 girls team. Brian began his coaching career in 1997 with the Sacopee Valley travel soccer club. After several years coaching travel soccer, he went on to assist with the Sacopee Valley high school boys, running their offseason training program for many years. Brian also ran the recreational soccer program for Sacopee Valley for several years and is now looking forward to working at the premier level with the U16 Girls. He has his E license. Brian lives in Cornish with his wife Kelly and his two kids.”
