TARA MOORE (Deering High/Portland) - SIMMONS COLLEGE,
Velocity U15-U18, 2003-2007. Served as captain all 4 years with Velocity. Was captain of the Deering freshmen team, 2003. Lead Freshman team in goals and total points. Three years Deering varsity, lead team in scoring as a junior, 2005, and captain her senior year, 2006. Awarded the Deering Ram award in 2006. Played as a U15 & U16, 2003-05, for the Maine ODP team. Currently holds her USSF class "E" coaching license.
Entered Simmons College as a freshman in 2007. Tara was the starting center back for the Simmons Sharks. Was 1 of only 2 players to start all 19 games for Simmons in 2007and 1 of 4 to have played in all 19. Counting 4 overtime games Tara played 1,668 minutes out of a possible 1,760. She was credited with 1 assist in 2007.
In 2008 Tara transferred to the University of Southern Maine for her sophomore year, due to transferring so late she was unable to play in the 2008 season.
DANIELLE LAU (Sanford High/Sanford) - HUSSON COLLEGE,
Played for Velocity U15-U18, 2003-2007. Three year starter for Sanford High. Named to the Maine Soccer Coaches All Regional 1st team 2006, SMAA All Star 1st team 2006, and the Biddeford Tribune All-Star team 2006. Academic awards included The Breault/Donarumo Memorial Scholarship 2007 and Margaret Maurais Memorial Scholarship 2007.
Made the Husson College womens soccer team as a freshmen in 2007.
Danielle played in 18 games and was credited with 6 starts. In 2007 Husson won the North Atlantic Conference title and a trip to the NCAA D3 national tournament.
BRITTENY FRENCH (Edward Little/Auburn) - BATES COLLEGE,
Played for Velocity U17-U18, 2005-2007. Three year starter for Edward Little, captain senior year. KVAC 1st st team 2005, Maine All State 1st team 2005. KVAC 1st team 2006, Maine Soccer Coaches All Regional 1st team 2006. KVAC All Academic soccer team 2006, KVAC All Academic Basketball team, 2007. Holds career record for shutouts at Edward Little and only the second girl to score over 1,000 carer points in basketball. Was captain of the Edward Little basketball team. Team MVP junior and senior year in soccer and basketball. Senior All star in lacrosse. Lettered in track and field. Received the Auburn / Lewiston Hall of Fame Presidents Award, 2007. Graduated 10th in class from Edward Little in 2007.
Made the Bates College women's soccer team as a freshmen in 2007. She played in 4 games, with 3 starts and was credited with a record of 1 win and 2 loses. As a sophomore Britteny started and played in 8 games, she had a won / lose record of 3-5 and a goal save average of .746
